Should demos always include a music bed?

Hey there to the successful pros out there... I've listened to a lot of demos posted by the members in the voice over area and it seems most of them contains a music track... should every demo have one? Should you provide a demo with and without (for the same read)? Maybe a good idea is to cut the read a bit shorter and then include a dry version AND a version with a music bed in the same demo reel??

Most demo reels are "fully produced". That being said, you should have a variety of types of spots on your demos. Some should be full of music, sound effects, and eq, and others should be more natural. If you are referring to auditions for the jobs...only include music and any effects if requested by the post.

    Best of luck!
