Quick question. Do you submit your auditions raw or edited (stuff like compression, normalization?)

I do not mean to start an argument or anything, this is but a curiosity of mine. The internet offers many conflicting ideas and tips, so I thought I'd ask the people of this lovely platform (somewhat saddening and embarrassing I only stumbled upon these forums now and not when I started out.)
For a while now I've been submitting audio that was denoised, noise gated, with a limiter + normalization to -3db combo. This was an endeavor that did not yield...major success (or so I suspect).
This brought me to wonder how you, my reader submit your auditions? Should I merely stick to slight noise, mouth click cleanup and submit audio that peaks around -6 decibels?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Cheers.
